The Apple House
One of the places Sharon and I stopped at while traveling
from Gloucester to Front Royal, VA was The Apple House. This wonderful deli and shop is located in
Linden and has become a familiar sight for travelers to visit while in
Virginia. The Apple House opened its
doors in 1963. It offers a tasty BBQ and
is known for its scrumptious Apple Butter Donuts. After enjoying a meal, take a walk around the
place and shop where you can find a variety of unusual items to choose
from. Check out their website for more information
and location: http://www.theapplehouse.net/default.aspx
That place was ridiculously yummy!
ReplyDeleteI know, it was. The food was good and I enjoyed all the unique items found in their store.
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool shop. I wouldn't see that from the outside and think "good food," I'd think it was just a fun place to walk around. The food, though, would be the icing on the cake.
ReplyDeleteThose donuts melted in my mouth. They were sooooo good!
DeleteHmmm. Apple butter donut.
