One of the calmer
beaches of San Diego is La Jolla Beach.
It extends about a mile long with sandy beaches and breathtaking views. From one point are sheer cliffs with other areas
including coves, children’s pool and beaches for sunbathing, swimming or
surfing. There is an area where seals
like to lounge in the sun. They don’t
seem to mind the many tourist snapping pictures of them relaxing. There are plenty of places to eat and shop. Don't forget the amazing farmer's market nearby. Since the beach is located near the San Diego
La Jolla Underwater Park Ecological Reserve, there are no fishing or scuba
classes provided in this area.
