Echoes of the Southwest

I know some people don't like photos being taken in cemeteries, but I feel different about that. I don't take photos of newer graves, just the old ones that are historical and a bit worn with time. I see the beauty in those photos and of how time has taken its toll on these headstones and statues.

Since Superior was on our way back home from Miami, we dropped in town for a bite to eat and to check out abandoned buildings to photograph. This tiny mining town is only an hour from my home and is a nice place to visit. In this post, I show all the places left empty and decaying. In my next post, I show you how the people of Superior and others are trying to revitalize this community.

We not only found abandoned places near the main street, but found more on the other side of the highway. These are more buildings we found the were able to photograph.
