Echoes of the Southwest

 I put together videos and photos of serene moments. Sit back and enjoy.

Sharon and I spent a couple of days experimenting with various ways to shot photography and videos. One of the fun things we did was to take various photos through wine bottles and glasses. We had fun with this one. I put them together in a video.

It is not enough to take photos of the beauty surrounding you, but if you look at things up close, you will see even more beauty.

I took several photos with my new camera in black and white, also in photo sepia. I really like the look of how they came out. It makes the desert look a bit moody. I put them together in a video.

 I did this video so you would get a feel of being one with nature.

I have to admit that I was skeptical when Sharon came up with this idea for a cocktail. I thought that a margarita with jalapeno/cucumber tequila  mixed with limeade sounded like it would taste awful. Boy was I wrong. I was the best margarita I have ever had. You have to try this.

About 40 miles east of Phoenix, and right on the outskirts of Superior, sits Picketpost Mountain. Many enjoy hiking the mountain which is near the Superstition Mountains. The story is told that a mailbox was placed on the top of the mountain and holds the log books for the Picketpost Mountain Trail. We went there in search of Apache Tears and we did find some.
