Time Machine Miniature Museum

For as long as I can remember, I have loved miniature homes and assessories. I bought mini house kits with furniture and other items to decorate it. I love recreating a home in a tiny 1"=1' scale. When we moved, I had no place for my mini creations, so I gave them away. Someday, I hope to make a house from scratch and decorate it with handmade items. When Sharon told me of the miniature museum in Tucson, I was so excited to see it. I did not think it would love as much as I did. I will definitely be visiting that place again.

Mission Statement

The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures is a nonprofit dedicated to preserving and advancing the art of miniatures for all.

Vision

Building on the Arnell Legacy, the vision of The Mini Time Machine Museum of Miniatures is to be a leading institution that celebrates, inspires, and connects people with miniatures.

The Mini Time Machine was created from the imagination and dedication of Founders, Patricia and Walter Arnell. Pat’s fondness for miniatures began in the 1930’s, when as a young girl she received her first miniatures—a set of Strombecker wooden dollhouse furniture. It wasn’t until the Arnells moved to Tucson in 1979 that Pat began collecting in earnest.
