Sedona 2021: Restaurants

As I mentioned in my previous post, the
El Rincon Restaurante Mexicano in Tlaquepaque (Tlaquepaque & El Rincon 2021 (echoesofthesouthwest.com) is one of our favorite places to eat while in Sedona. When Sharon and I just recently vacationed in Sedona, we checked out other places to eat as well and were happy with the food. Here are some of the places we found:

For breakfast, we hit two really amazing places. The food was delicious and satisfying.

The Coffee Pot Restaurant: Sedona has many places to dine and some more quirky than others. The Coffee Pot Restaurant is located near the Coffee Pot Rock. It has been in business since the 1950’s and offer around 101 different omelets for your enjoyment. They provide breakfast all day long and serve it with the best tasting coffee. It also serves many other delicious meals at affordable prices. The service is just as wonderful as the food. It also provides you with a small shop for various items. My favorite is their corn beef and hash.

Creekside Restaurant: This was the first time having breakfast in this place and I am so glad I did. I ordered their Lemon Ricotta French Toast. Oh my goodness, this was so amazing. It had four slices of homemade cranberry bread on bottom, with lemon ricotta on top, with a side of syrup and butter. I could not finish it, but enjoyed every bite. This place sits above Oak Creek and has a gorgeous view. I will definitely go back for another round of French toast.

Lunch was more about sandwiches and salads. Of course we went to the El Rincon the first day for yummy cream cheese enchiladas. The next couple days, we found other places.

The Hudson Restaurant: This place was close to our hotel and an amazing view of the Sedona red rocks. We had pastrami Reuben with a side of coleslaw. It had too much sauerkraut because most of it fell out, but it was delicious.

Oak Creek Market: This place is located inside Oak Creek Canyon. We decided to get salads, drinks and sides to take for a picnic near the creek. It was a bit hot, so after we had an nice time at the creek, we took our lunch back to our hotel room and enjoyed it there.

Dinner was snacks the first day and a couple of restaurants the next two.

Wildflower Bread Company: This was the night we planned to UFO watch, so we decided to have dinner in our room. I used my DoorDash app and we ordered a couple of sandwiches. I got the grilled cheese sandwich and Sharon got turkey & brie on sourdough. They came with a side of chips. The sandwiches were pretty good.

Mooney's Irish Pub: This cute little pub not only had great food, but was a fun place to relax. We decided to have dinner there, but missed out on the evening's karaoke. If we didn't have plans, we would had stayed for the entertainment. I had their Shepard's Pie and it was delicious. I just had to eat the whole thing and did not regret it. Yum!!

Sedona has many places to eat. These we just the ones we tried out.
