English Rose Tea Room

Sharon and I have talked about going to one of the many tea rooms around the valley for lunch. While checking out the sites in Carefree, we noticed the English Rose Tea Room at the end of the historic strip mall. It was lunch time so we decided to check it out. We didn't have reservations, but they had a nice little table that we could sit at.

The place was decorated exactly how I thought a tea room would be decorated. The woman who waited on us was British and made us feel like we traveled to England for lunch.  We ordered green tea, a mushroom/brie soup and shared the Earl of Sandwich which was three different sandwiches cut in small wedges.  The soup and sandwiches were to die for.  The tea was the perfect addition.  We loved our experience at the English Rose Tea Room and would love to go there again.

Check out their website, http://carefreetea.com/, for all the information about this quaint little place.
