Views From the Buttes

Last weekend Sharon and I stayed a couple of nights at the Buttes Resort.  For the most part the place was amazing.  The food was simply delicious as well as breathtaking views.  My only complaints was charging for Internet services and parking.  The walls were a bit thin as I was forced to listen to the bed in the next room squeaked in a nice rhythm while the couple bickered afterwards.  Apparently the sex wasn't all that great, tee hee.  Here are some of the pictures from the bridge between the rooms and restaurants and the balcony of the Top of the Rocks restaurant.  Have a safe and fun holiday.

  1. The pictures came out great! Really showed the place. If it hadn't been 100,000 degrees, it would have been fun to wander the place and enjoy the outdoor setting.

  2. The pool area looks like quite the oasis...and a cemetery nearby...how convenient.

  3. Overall a sexy butte, but still not without its flaws? Typical.

Most Marriott's I've been in have thin walls. I don't think they want people having sex. They want to make it as awkward as possible.

  4. What a beautiful view! That pool area looks almost like a movie set. As if someone is going to emerge from the fog. :)

  5. It was very hot. Like us, most of the guests came out around 4:00 pm to swim. The misters they had around the pool cooled things down. The views were great and so was the food.

  6. They even charge you for parking now? Man, they really want to milk you for every last dollar. Looks like it was a fun stay though. Great pics!

  7. Yep, when the bill came there was a charge for parking in their parking lot. Sigh... it is bad enough they make you pay for internet service, but parking?
