Apache Leap, Superior, AZ 75 Apache warriors jumped 800 feet to their death off those mountains while running from the military men who were chasing them.
Great pictures, but also, what a story. That must have been a brutal way to go out, and yet still more dignified than surrendering and dying at the hands of those military men.
