  2. It's so cool to have the photograph of the place back when it was in use, then be able to go inside and see it today.

  3. Jeremy, we would love for you to join us on one or more of our road trips. You would have loved this place. Don't worry, we always make sure there is a place to plug in our laptops and cell phones.

Lois, I was so excited to get a hold of the right person who let us inside on our own. Old jails are awesome places to get great photos.

  5. Jeez, sis, I hope that was one of our POE team near the window or you caught a ghost. :-) Those came out so beautifully. That's just the way that place felt.

  6. What did one Illinois prison inmate say to the other? "The food was better when you were Governor."

  7. Sis, that was Vins who got caught in the photo. It would have been cool if it was a ghost.

Barry, hahaha.... we had some ex-AZ governors that did time.

  8. Good job getting some creepy photos! I agree that the toilet is the scariest thing here. :) Do you know how old that first photo is?

  9. Justine, the photo was taken in 1907. The place is loaded with creepy cells and nasty toilets. I went nuts taking pictures in there.

  10. Cool! Then your photo is about the same age as that photo of the creepy lady I put in a blog post! I had actually guessed your photo to be from the late 1800s.

I just searched for Ouija Boards on your blog and I see lots of results! I look forward to reading these posts.
