Vulture Mine: A Sad Little Cemetery

After enjoying a pie and iced coffee in Wickenburg, Sharon and I decided to see if Vulture Mine was opened and check out its cemetery nearby.  As you drive up to the gate of the cemetery, all you see is white crosses.  Many of those who were killed at Vulture Mine, were buried at that cemetery.  As we walked around we noticed only one grave had a visible headstone.  The rest were unknown which made it a sad place to be.

  2. That does look like a sad place to be. Beautiful, but sad and lonely.

  3. Thanks Sis, I didn't think that place would seem so lonely but it did.

Vivienne, it was small, in the middle of the Sonoran desert, and had many unmarked graves with wooden white crosses....sad!
